Sailesh Kolanu’s HIT: The Third Case, the latest chapter in the Homicide Intervention Team series, hit theaters on May 1, 2025. Starring Nani, Srinidhi Shetty, and Prateik Smita Patil, the film delivered a robust performance at the Indian box office, earning ₹18 crore net on its opening day, as reported by Sacnilk.

Strong Box Office Performance

The film saw an impressive Telugu occupancy rate of 87.82%, with afternoon shows reaching 92.37%. This opening marks Nani’s second-best debut, trailing only behind Dasara (2023), which grossed ₹23.2 crore on its first day. HIT 3 outperformed Nani’s previous releases, including Ante Sundaraniki (2022) at ₹6.25 crore, Hi Nanna (2023) at ₹4.9 crore, and Saripodhaa Sanivaaram (2024) at ₹9 crore.
